To mute participants upon entry during an existing meeting on Zoom, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "Manage Participants" button on the bottom toolbar.
  2. Click on "More" below the participants list.
  3. Click on "Mute all upon entry" in the dropdown menu that appears.
  4. Decide whether you want them to be able to unmute themselves or not
